There are days you are up and days you are down and sometimes you just need to listen to you body. Today was just one of those days. Actually, the past few days I have not been feeling just this way and I have been trying to push through. My older daughter, Ava, 12; has to put on a boot for a Achilles tear, my 2nd daughter, Ella, 10, has been feeling out of it taking medicine for Lyme disease (thankfully her meds are almost done), my third child, Brent who is 5 has been having trouble accepting the word, NO. And this can be utterly frustrating for all members of the household. 😉 And the youngest, Alexa, who just turned 1 is trying to walk and with that there are many falls involved. So we run around after her ;-). But I must say it is pretty amazing to see a child at the beginning of life’s stages. And with all this crazy, yes life goes on.
On a brighter side my business is booming; I am doing a great deal of personal training, training in speed and agility, running coaching, writing and things could not be better since I transitioned my business. I even started to boom with my online training programs and through all this I just became more alive. I began to feel a greater purpose in life because everyone wants to make a difference. My kids even noticed the transition as Ella stated she hopes to find a job she loves so much like Mom. Because they can all see there is not a day I do not look forward to doing what I do. And by the way that is pretty cool because whether you realize it or not, passion is contagious! If the people around see you are passionate they will want to be just the same and like that it goes viral!
So for today I will take it easy besides my run (which I always do) 😉 and enjoy all the wonders of summer, like hanging out with the children, staying up late because we can do just this with no early school wake ups the next day and put on a smile because all of these worries are truly something that shall pass. In the grand scheme of life none of this is really a big deal.
So friends go out and have a great workout, eat healthy because you deserve to nourish your body and spread kindness through the world. It can be as simple as helping a elderly or person in need at the grocery store because everyday you can make a change!
