Love the New YOU

Listen up you need to look at yourself for who you are today and love the new you!  I am not telling you to look in the mirror all day in awe but do not be afraid to look at yourself.  Look at the whole package…perfections and imperfections and be happy with who you are.  You may have just lost weight from your healthy diet and exercise so be proud of all you have accomplished! And be proud of all that you have accomplished this far in your life.  As a crazy busy mom of three who rarely gets to look in the mirror for more than a minute (unless a little one is in front of me while I do their hair) I totally understand lack of time.  But you need to make time to put yourself first every now and then.  Here are 4 tips to love and embrace the new you:

1) Try a new fashion look

So you lost weight and are finding your clothes are falling everywhere and it is not a good look!  Then head to the nearest shopping center and go on a mini shoppping spree.  This does not mean you have to spend mega bucks.  Stores like Marshalls and TJ Maxx have loads of great clothes and they have great deals!  And for less than a hundred dollars you can walk out with a whole new outfet from head to toe!  So get the skirt you always wanted to rock but never had the courage and just be YOU!

2) Try a new hair color or hair style

I just added some highlights and yes it is a totally different look for me but I needed the change.  Change feels good every now and then.  So find a look that works for you and what makes you feel best and wear it with confidence.  Do not be afraid of change because change can be a really good thing (especially if it is a hair style you end up loving)!

3)Go Bathing Suit Shopping

The dreaded bathing suit shopping season is just around the corner!!  But why dread it if you worked hard and lost weight so embrace your new body and be proud of what you got!  You worked hard for it!  Look for a suit or bikini that is flattering to your body and love the new you! If you are unsure of what to choose bring a friend for support and honesty!

4) Love what you got

I do not have perfect model measurements and that is okay because I have good intentions and I care about others!  I work with what I have and take care of myself by exercising daily.  I do love the healthy lungs and heart I have that enable me to run each day!  And I do love the healthy family I get to share my lungs with as I chase after my little ones ;-). What do you have that you are proud of?  And what makes you unique?

I hope these tips help you to be on your way to self realization that you are special and unique because you are YOU!  And do not forget the love the new you!
