Here are 4 steps that can change your waistline and your life.
Step 1. Eat for Health. Stop eating out of emotional stress and start eating for your health. Choose food that will nourish your body like vegetables, fruits and whole grains. Love your body the way you deserve and eat clean! This is the number one way to see abdominal changes.
Step 2. Push yourself in your workouts. You may walk for hours a day and wonder why you have not lost an ounce. Could it be that you are not pushing yourself? You don’t have to go out an run a marathon but push yourself to the next level. Walkers, you should start to speed walk. Runners, integrate sprints into your workouts. Hikers, look for a more challenging trail. Find ways to challenge your fitness and your waistline will diminish as a result of this cardio.
Step 3. Don’t forget to do the Plank. The plank is the number one abdominal exercise that will isolate the muscles in your back, obliques and core. To tighten those abs get in the plank. Firm those abs and strengthen your back.
Step 4.Avoid Late night snacks. I find that nighttime grazing is the number one reason that people gain weight. Mindless eating in front of the television yields weight gain. If you want a snack after dinner cut up veggies and enjoy the health and benefits of what you are eating. And if you are still hungry, get to bed early!
Nothing feels better than beating the bulge, looking great in a bathing suit, having the energy to just get up and go, and achieving better health. Live your life the way you deserve; in health and happiness. And say goodbye to the bulge you do not deserve 😉
